Water Crisis: Karachiites announces to boycott elections
KARACHI, APR 21 (DNA) – As the water crisis worsened in the metropolis, the annoyed Karachiites have announced to give vote those who would resolve the water crisis.
People took to the street in many parts of Karachi due to water shortage. The city is facing shortage of water as it is not getting the required 100 million gallons of water.
Water theft and power crisis are also the main reason as to why the supply of water to Karachi is being affected.
The residents of Lines Area are forced to consume contaminated boring water, incurring diseases.
The agitated residents said that the politicians have not fulfilled their promises.
They also announced boycott the elections until the provision of clean drinking water as they were forces to buy expensive water from tankers.
