Uzbek embassy keen to expand healthcare cooperation with Pakistan
ISLAMABAD, NOV 20 (DNA) – Ambassador of Uzbekistan to Pakistan Furqat Sidiqov, paid an official visit to Shifa International Hospital in Islamabad. During the visit organized meetings with management of the Hospital and Board Members.
Issues of bilateral cooperation in scientific-medical sphere, educational and inter-hospital cooperation were discussed during the meeting. Pakistani side highly evaluated ongoing reforms in Uzbekistan in social sphere as well as potential of Uzbekistan in medical education and practice.
Both sides expressed interest in organizing mutual visits of the medical experts both to Uzbekistan and Pakistan in order to exchange of experience, expertise and educational exchange programs.
Embassy of Uzbekistan to Pakistan expressed its gratitude to the management of Shifa International Hospital for facilitating the meeting and hosting the ambassador and his staff.=DNA
