Uzbek deputy PM visits Pakistan

ISLAMABAD: Federal Commerce Minister Gohar Ijaz has welcomed Uzbekistan’s Deputy Prime Minister for Trade and Investment, Dr. Jamshid Khodjaev, to Pakistan for a two-day visit.
This visit is a testament to the strong and growing economic ties between our two countries. In his Tweet he said, ‘I look forward to productive discussions with Dr. Khodjaev on ways to further strengthen our bilateral trade and investment ties, and to explore new avenues for collaboration in a range of sectors, including trade, transit, agriculture, IT, and mineral development.
I am confident that this visit will be a success, and that it will lead to increased cooperation between Pakistan and Uzbekistan in all areas of mutual interest’.
