Uzbek ambassador briefs Senator Hidayat Ullah about upcoming polls
ISLAMABAD, DEC 5 (DNA) –Ambassador of Uzbekistan Furqat Sidikov met with Senator Hidayat Ullah, Head of Parliamentary Friendship group of Uzbekistan in Senate of Pakistan.
During the meeting, both sides discussed issues of further enhancing inter parliamentary relations and law-making process cooperation between the two brotherly countries.
The ambassador also briefed the Senator about the upcoming Parliamentary Elections to be held in Uzbekistan on 22th December.
Senator Hidayat Ullah was invited to Uzbekistan as an International Observer for the elections.
Moreover, the Senator was also shown the election monitoring cell established in the Embassy of Uzbekistan in Islamabad as well as the Exhibition Hall of the Export items created in the Embassy.
The Ambassador briefed the Senator about the potential of Uzbekistan in various technologies.=DNA
