US snubs Pakistan while commends Indian role in Afghanistan
WASHINGTON, FEB 24 (DNA) – The Trump administration has hailed India’s role in Afghanistan’s development and pledging additional uplift assistance to in the impoverished country.
A Pentagon spokesperson on Thursday told journalists in Washington: “India has been very supportive, and they’ve pledged additional developmental aid in Afghanistan . They’ve been willing to help with aviation maintenance,”
Dana White believed President Donald Trump’s new South Asia policy offered Pakistan an opportunity to cooperate with the US on stabilising Afghanistan .
“Pakistan has an opportunity to do more with respect to regional security. It’s an opportunity and we would welcome Pakistan’s involvement. It’s in everyone’s interest to defeat terrorism.”
