US Adviser calls on COAS in Rawalpindi
RAWALPINDI, Aug 30 (DNA): Ambassador Susan Rice, National Security Adviser USA, visited General Headquarters (GHQ) Sunday and called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif. During the meeting, matters of mutual interest including security situation in the region were discussed. Ambassador Susan Rice acknowledged and appreciated Pakistan Army’s sincere efforts and sacrifices in war against terrorism. Both dignitaries also recognized the continued need for close coordination for ensuring peace and stability in Afghanistan and the region.
