UK police arrive to investigate hate speeches of MQM founder
ISLAMABAD, APR 07 (DNA) – Team of United Kingdom Police has arrived in federal capital to investigate the matters pertaining to inflammatory speeches of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) founder Altaf Hussain.
The UK police arrived in Islamabad on Saturday to record statements of eye-witnesses in inflammatory speech case of founder MQM Altaf Hussain. These witnesses include six police officials.
The UK police will determine whether MQM founder’s speech of August 22, 2018 comes in the domain of inflammatory and hate-speech after interviewing case witnesses on April 08 (Monday).
UK police has asked the government to provide the records of filed FIR against MQM founder Altaf Hussain and the video recording of his inflammatory speech.
On the other hand, Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has written a letter to IG Sindh, ensuring the availability of witnesses.
It is worth mentioning here that UK police came to Pakistan on the request of interior ministry.=DNA
