Two target killers arrested from Gulshan Maymar
KARACHI, Oct 03 (DNA): Sindh Rangers in a raid in Gulshan Maymar on Saturday arrested as many as two suspected target killers allegedly involved in killing of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) leaders Sajid Qureshi and Raza Haider.
Rangers spokesman in a statement said that the suspects Akbar Hussain alias Kala and Konain Hyder Rizvi were affiliated with a political party and were involved in a number of target killings, arson and cracker attacks.
Rangers statement said Akbar alias Kala was involved in killing of MQM MPAs Raza Haider and Sajid Qureshi along with attacks on a number of the party’s election camps to gain public sympathy.
Konain Rizvi allegedly killed seven people and said to be involved in extortion and in a number of arson attacks during strikes.
The Rangers produced the two accused in an anti-terrorism court on Saturday. The court’s judge granted 90 days’ remand of the two accused to the security agency for investigation. ECL request for target killer
