Rawalpindi, 26 Apr: /DNA/ – On 25 April 2023, a fire exchange took place between own troops and terrorists in general area Tirah, Khyber District. Own troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location. Resultantly, 2 x terrorists were sent to hell and four terrorists were injured. Weapons and ammunition were also recovered from the killed terrorists.

However, during intense exchange of fire, Sepoy Waqas Ali Shah (age 26 years, resident of District Charsadda) and Sepoy Basit Ali (age 24 years, resident of District Peshawar) having fought gallantly, embraced shahadat. Sanitization of the area is being carried out to eliminate any other terrorists found in the area.

Security Forces of Pakistan are determined to eliminate the menace of terrorism and such sacrifices of our brave soldiers further strengthen our resolve.
