It is to be mentioned here an Rapid Response Group (RRG) officer was also killed in the same area few days ago whereas another got severely hurt. Three days back, a traffic warden was also gunned down however, no detention has been made in this regard so far.
Two policemen martyred as suspects open fire in Quetta
QUETTA (DNA) – At least two policemen were killed while one sustained severe wounds as some unidentified suspects on Thursday opened fire on Quetta’s Double Road.
Officers Mohammad Ilyas and Shoukat died on the spot while Javed was shifted to hospital for medical assistance. The initial report suggested that the firing was carried out with 9mm pistol.
The security personnel have cordoned off the entire area and launched a search operation.
