Turkish, Syrian Presidents discuss bilateral ties, developments in Syria
ISTANBUL, Jan 19 (DNA): Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed bilateral relations and the latest developments in Syria during a phone call with Syrian President Ahmed Al Sharaa.
In a statement posted on Turkiye’s social media platform NSosyal, Director of Communications of the Turkish Presidency Burhanettin Duran said President Erdogan affirmed that Turkiye would further strengthen its support for Syria’s unity, territorial integrity, stability, and security across multiple areas, especially counterterrorism.
He stressed that the complete eradication from Syrian territory is essential for ensuring Syria’s stability as well as the security of the wider region.
