ISLAMABAD, SEPT 13 (DNA) -President of the Republic of Tunisia Beji Caid Essebsi has congratulated Arif Alvi on his election as President of Pakistan.

In a message, the Tunisian president said,  “on the occasion of your election as President of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, I am pleased to express to You on my own behalf and on that of the Tunisian people, my warmest congratulations and best wishes for good health and personal happiness and success in your high functions, as well as, for the continued progress and prosperity of the brotherly People of Pakistan”.

The Tunisian president further said, “I avail myself of this opportunity to express my sincere commitment to work closely with your Excellency to further strengthen the ties between our brotherly peoples and to enhance the constructive cooperation between Tunisia and Pakistan”.=DNA
