Time has come to send the government packing: Shehbaz
ISLAMABAD (DNA) – Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) and Leader of Opposition in National Assembly Shehbaz Sharif on Friday while paying tribute to the bravery of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that the time has come to send the government packing.
Addressing the Azadi March in Islamabad on Friday, he congratulated the JUI-F on the success of Azadi March and said that this is the real “Tabdeeli”.
“Prime Minister Imran Khan had started the politics of container that has been buried today,” Shehbaz said and added the poor people have also been deprived of free medicine.
Shehbaz Sharif went on to say that the ‘selected PM’ has destroyed the country’s economy and students are crying for the scholarships.
The PML-N leader said that inflation was at lowest level during ex-PM Nawaz Sharif’s tenure and that the nation is cursing the incumbent government for not providing them promised relief.
He said: “Free medicines had been distributed to cancer patients during former prime minister and PML-N supremo Nawaz Sharif’s tenure but today the students have been deprived of their scholarships and businesses have been closed.”
The PML-N leader said if that Pakistan was better where there was no dengue or the one now where there is dengue now. “This year, 50,000 have been affected by dengue,” he asserted.
“The prime minster is running the government through witchcraft,” Shehbaz claimed.
