The suspects — Ansar, Azam and Javaid — have several cases of theft and robbery registered against them in Mankera Bhakkar police station.
Police personnel escorted the three criminals to the Lahore registry of the Supreme Court for the hearing.
After hearing arguments, a three-judge bench headed by Justice Aijaz Chaudhry rejected their bail petition. Upon hearing the verdict, the suspects fled the court.
Yesterday, two policemen were arrested after a suspected militant in their custody escaped from the heavily guarded anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Karachi. Tanveer Alias Jumbo was facing trial in an explosive substances case.
