Thousands throng to Jakarta trade expo including top Pakistani businessmen

JAKARTA, OCT 25 (DNA)- Thousands of visitors thronged to the 33rd Trade Expo held in Jakarta, during first two days of inauguration.
The President of Indonesia Joko Widodo opened the largest annual trade show the TRADE EXPO INDONESIA (TEI) in Jakarta, on Wednesday. More than 100,000 attended the expo and took keen interest in various stalls exhibited there.
A large number of Pakistani businessmen also participated in the Expo and explored various news avenue of cooperation with their Indonesian business partners.The Pakistani business delegation that attended the expo, while talking to DNA expressed their satisfaction over the arrangements made for them by the Indonesians embassy in Islamabad and the organizers of the expo.
“It is for the first time that I am attending the expo, and so far it has turned out be a very good experience”, said a businessman from Sargodha”.
He especially thanked the Indonesian embassy in Islamabad for its assistance and necessary facilitation and persuasion to attend the expo.
He said keeping in view the potential and utility of this expo he would like to come here even in the coming days also.

TEI 2018 also presented a strong Trade, Tourism, and Investment Forum, business counselling and talk show to explore trade opportunities with Indonesia.
TEI is an international B2B-focused tradeshow that is designed to boost export product growth and export market expansion. The 33rd TEI in 2018 brings up the theme “Creating Products for Global Opportunities” to promote quality products made in Indonesia for the global market, develop business networks, investment and present showcases of Indonesian premium and best products.
The Expo organizers arranged special meetings for Pakistani as well other visiting delegated thus providing them with a chance to have close interaction with their Indonesia counterparts.
Businessmen from all major cities of Pakistan took part in the expo. Separate meetings and interviews were arranged for them.
The head of economic section Indonesian embassy Islamabad was also here to make sure that all possible facilitation is provided to the visiting delegates. =DNA
