NEW YORK, DEC 07, (DNA) -Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Tariq Fatemi on Tuesday briefed the United Nations Deputy Secretary General Jan Eliasson on the continuing human rights violations and Indian atrocities in occupied Kashmir.

Tariq Fatemi also met nominated UN Secretary General António Guterres on the occasion.

Pakistan representative to UN Maleeha Lodhi also participated in the meeting.

Fatemi is currently visiting US to have interaction with the current administration and to reach out to the officials who are likely to join the new administration under Donald Trump presidency.-=DNA
