Tariq Fatemi lauds services of Romanian ambassador
ISLAMABAD, JUNE 06 (DNA) -The outgoing Ambassador of Romania to Pakistan Mr. Emilian Ion paid a farewell call on the Special Assistant to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Syed Tariq Fatemi, at the Foreign Office, today. Mr. Ion served as Romanian Ambassador to Pakistan for over seven years from January, 2009 onwards.
Tariq Fatemi expressed satisfaction over the friendly, cordial and cooperative relations between Pakistan and Romania, ever since the establishment of bilateral diplomatic relations. He appreciated the outstanding contribution made by the Ambassador in furthering the bilateral ties between Pakistan and Romania in diverse areas. The SAPM also expressed his best wishes to the outgoing Ambassador in his future assignments.
Ambassador Ion conveyed his sincere gratitude for the support and cooperation extended by the Government and people of Pakistan in making his stay in Pakistan productive and fruitful. He also conveyed his optimism for greater progress and prosperity of the state of Pakistan, as well as the well-being of the people of Pakistan.=DNA
