Tajikistan embassy hosts Independence Day reception in Islamabad

ISLAMABAD, SEP 9 /DNA/ – The Embassy of Tajikistan in Pakistan hosted a reception to mark the Independence Day anniversary of Tajikistan. The event was led by Mr. Sharifzoda Yusuf Toir, Ambassador of Tajikistan, who along with the embassy staff, formally hoisted the national flag and cut a celebratory cake.

The ceremony was attended by diplomats, officials, and members of the community, reflecting the warmth and friendship between the two nations. Ambassador Sharifzoda highlighted the significance of Tajikistan’s independence and expressed gratitude for the strong support and goodwill extended by Pakistan. He noted that the bilateral relationship has grown steadily over the years, with cooperation in trade, energy, and cultural exchanges.
