Tajik president expresses grief over Lahore tragedy
ISLAMABAD, MAR 28 (DNA) –The President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon has expressed deep sense of sorrow and grief over the tragic incident of Gulsshan-e-Iqbal park in which over 70 previous lives were lost.In a letter written to Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif the Tajik president said, “We are deeply sad to hear the tragic news about teniffing explosion in Lahore city of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, which left tens of innocent people, including women and children die and hundreds of people injured severely. We express our disgust and strongly condemn this blind violence act of adverse powers with a deep concem and emphasize our full solidarity to regional and global efforts in expanding fight against terrorism and extremism. I would like to extend condolences on my own behalf and on behalf of the people of Tajikistan to friendly country of Pakistan and relatives of the victims and wish speedy recovery of all those affected by the tragedy”.=DNA
