Tahir-ul-Qadri terms LHC decision over Model Town incident report as ‘historic’
LAHORE, DEC 05 (DNA) – Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) Chief Tahir-ul-Qadri on Tuesday termed Lahore High Court (LHC) decision regarding making Model Town massacre judicial report public as historic.
Addressing a press conference, Tahir-ul-Qadri said that we are fighting double wars for past two years and that FIR of the mishap was registered after intervention of former Army Chief General Raheel Sharif.
Chief Minister of Punjab (CM) Shehbaz Sharif constituted commission to probe Model Town incident, he added.
He said the commission held Punjab government accountable for the massacre, adding that our demand was resignation of Shehbaz Sharif.
