Students visit Pakistan’s embassy in Beijing
BEIJING, AUG 03 (DNA) – Dozens of schoolchildren visited Pakistan’s embassy in Beijing on Wednesday. Masood Khalid, Pakistani ambassador to China, extended a warm welcome to the group and urged the young guests to study history in order to reach a better understanding of the deep rooted Pakistan-China friendship.
He said people-to-people exchanges, education and cultural contacts are necessary for taking relations to new heights.
He described the young students as not only future leaders of China, but also future ambassadors of Pakistan-China friendship.
Various aspects of Pakistan and the friendship between Pakistan and China were highlighted through video and presentations.
Students said the experience was memorable, and will boost understanding of Pakistan and its people. A question and answer session was followed by a group photo.=DNA
