ISLAMABAD, FEB 07, (DNA) – National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq will preside over the meeting of parliamentary parties’ leaders in Islamabad today to discuss the issue of extension in military courts.

According to National Assembly Secretariat, Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Dr Farooq Sattar, Maulana Fazlur Rehman, Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, Mahmood Khan Achakzai, Sheikh Rashid Ahmad and other leaders are expected to attend today’s meeting.

Interior Minister or Defence Minister will brief the meeting over the issue of extension in military courts. It is pertinent to mention here that the two previous meetings of parliamentary leaders of the National Assembly (NA) on the issue of military courts remained inconclusive.=DNA
