ISLAMABAD: Ambassador of Spain Manuel Duran has said October 12 is the Spanish national day however this year due to COVID 19 pandemic, unfortunately the national day shall not be celebrated in a festive manner.

In a Tweet Ambassador Duran said nevertheless there is something to celebrate and that is great friendship between Spain and Pakistan.

It may be mentioned there that usually the Spanish national day is a highly festive event participated by the all segments of society. The national day reception always takes place at the lush green lawns of the Spanish residence.
