Soleimani united all Muslims with his martyrdom: Iranian ambassador
ISLAMABAD, JAN 11 (DNA) – Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Pakistan has organized the Commemoration ceremony on the occasion of the seventh day of mourning for the Martyrdom of Lt.General Qassem Soleimani, on Friday. The commemoration ceremony was held at Al-Sadiq Institute in Islamabad.
Pakistan’s prominent political and religious figures, party officials, supporters of the Islamic resistance, as well as Mohammad Ali Hosseini, the ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran in Pakistan, attended the ceremony.
Hosseini delivered a speech and referring to the character of Martyr Soleimani, he said: the commander of the Quds Force put all his efforts for the stability and security of the region and fought against the brutal and criminal terrorists until he sacrificed his life in defense of the oppressed people of our region. He was killed by the United States while fighting with child-killing terrorists for many years. US officials have admitted that the US itself has created these terrorists.
He added: Commander Soleimani was striving for peace and security for all the nations of the region. He was seeking to provide security, stability and peace for all by fighting terrorists. There were no differences in this path between Shiites and Sunnis, Christians, Kurds, Turkmen, Izadis and so on. Even a foreign official praised the commander for supporting Syrian Christians. For Martyr Qassem Soleimani, humanity and human lives mattered most. He was martyred for the sake of serving and sacrificing for humanity and providing human rights, the most obvious of which is security and the right to life.
The Iranian ambassador to Pakistan said: General Soleimani was successful in defeating the US and the Zionist regime in achieving their development goals in the region and in Islamic countries.
Referring to the faithfulness and steadfastness of the martyr Soleimani in his covenant with God, he said: “Haj Qassem did not go astray in the path of righteousness all the time and never backed down. He was true to his covenant, word, and demeanor, and there was no change in the course of his faith, but the difficulties of his path added more value and strength to his faith.”
Hosseini added: During his life, Soleimani was a man of faith and good deeds. He enjoyed unparalleled popularity among the people of the region because of his divine popularity. The United States and its allies never imagined that the Martyrdom of General Soleimani would have such a broad impact in Islamic countries.
He emphasized: General Soleimani has advanced and developed the principle of resistance against bullying, oppressors and Imperialism into a culture throughout the region. This culture was derived from the verses of the Qur’an and the school of the Prophet’s (pbuh). Qassem Soleimani was a symbol and master of this culture. He is a role model for all freedom-seekers in the world, both Muslim and non-Muslim. You can be confident that martyr Soleimani is stronger than Soleimani (when he was alive). Since Martyrdom gave him an eternal success and impact.
The Iranian ambassador said various terrorist groups have been seeking to assassinate Soleimani in recent years, but have failed. What the terrorist groups like ISIS and the likes of it failed to do, was done by the most evil people on earth.
Referring to the de-escalation in the region, he said: “This is an issue that is being raised by European and other countries these days. However, Iran has never been and will not be in pursuit of tension. Iran, for example, has been 100 percent committed to its commitments under the nuclear deal and has been fully in cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency. Even Europe and the US have acknowledged it”.
Hosseini added: “The crusading side that led to further tensions was the American regime and the Trump administration. He went out of the nuclear deal and destroyed it. Then, he imposed illegal and inhumane sanctions against Iran, and launched an economic terrorism against our nation.
Pakistani figures including Prime Minister’s spokesman Nadeem Afzal Chen’, Allama Mohammad Amin Shahidi, chairman of the United Ummah Assembly, Allama Sayed Iftekhar Hossein Naqvi, head of the SCTV, Mian Aslam from the Jamaat Party. Islamist and Mufti Golzar Naimi, a Sunni Pakistani cleric, also expressed condolences on the occasion of the Martyrdom of General Qassem Soleimani to the Iranian nation and government.
They condemned the assassination of General Soleimani and his companions in a terrorist act by the United States, which exposed the common enemies of the Muslim world and said: “General Qassem Soleimani is a martyr for the path of Al-Quds and the liberation of Palestine. Soleimani united all Muslims with his martyrdom.”
Allama Sheikh Shafa Najafi, Imam of the mosque of al-Sadiq (AS) also in a speech, described the martyr Soleimani as the Malik Ashtar of the time and the great martyr of the Islamic Ummah and said: Martyr Soleimani was the leader of the war against arrogance and the criminals to know that the blood our martyrs will not be wasted. The martyrdom of Qassem Soleimani has given the Muslims great power.
“The blood of these martyrs is injected into the body of the Islamic community and gives it a new life,” the deputy head of the Shia Islamic Council of Afghanistan said in a speech. The enemies know that the Soleimanis will stand forever and defend territory of Islam, the dignity and honor of Islam. This land will be the legacy of God’s righteous servants.
He added: “Although General Qassem is not now physically among us, the path of this great martyr will be continued. The Martyrdom of General Soleimani created a new wave of awakening among the Islamic nations, which will soon overthrow the tyranny.
