ISLAMABAD, 04 APR (DNA) – Lieutenant General Anwar Hamad Ameen Ahmed, commander of the Iraqi air force commander on Monday paid a visit to the federal capital and held a meeting with Air Chief Marshal Sohail Aman.

According to spokesperson for Pakistan Air Force (PAF), Chief of Air Staff (CAS) Air Chief Marshal Aman welcomed the Iraqi counterpart on his arrival at Air Headquarters. Contingent of the air force presented guard of honour to the Iraqi leader.

Lt General Ahmed laid wreath at martyrs’ monument. Spokesperson further that the Air Chief discussed matters of mutual interest with Iraqi counterpart. Earlier on March 26, Turkish air commander General Abidin Unal visited the headquarters and met Chief of Air Staff.

Pakistan Air Force had invited Turkish delegation which managed a four-day long visit. The delegation visited different air bases and force’s installations. DNA
