Sherry Rehman appointed Pakistan’s first ever woman Senate opposition leader

ISLAMABAD, MAR 22 (DNA) – Senator Sherry Rehman has been appointed as opposition leader in the Senate .
She assumed the office of Opposition Leader in Senate on Thursday.
Senator Sherry Rehman is the first female opposition leader in the Upper House of the Parliament. She enjoys support of 34 senators.
Sherry Rehman is the 12th Opposition leader in the Senate and seventh opposition leader of Pakistan Peoples Party.
