Shahzad Waseem wins Senate election; gets 181 votes
LAHORE, OCT 03: Dr. Shahzad Waseem has won the Senate election by getting 181 votes. His opponent Khawja Hassan got just 169 votes.
Dr. Shahzad Waseem was contesting the Seante election after the seat was vacated by Ch. Muhammad Sarwar,who has become governor Punjab.
Dr. Shahzad Waseem is a senor PTI leader and advisor of Imran Khan on foreign affairs. In his capacity as advisor of Chairman PTI, Dr. Shahzad Waseem had contributed greatly towards building good links with the diplomatic community especially.
