ISLAMABAD, JAN 19 (DNA) – Mr. Shahid Sohail Senior most officer in the Capital Development Authority (CDA) has been tipped as the new Chairman of the civic body.

Mr. Sohail is currently serving as the Member Engineering in the CDA. Mr. Shohail is an experienced bureaucrat, who according to sources, can run the affairs in an efficient manner.

Previously he has served as Director General in various departments. He has also served as Pakistan Water Operator Network Chairman and in municipal water waste management Sohail is considered as an authority.

It may also be mentioned here that the previous chairman had approached the court for stay orders against his removal, however the court has not granted him stay but has issued notices to all stakeholders to submit replies. =DNA
