Shahid Afridi joins Karachi Kings
APR 08, (DNA) – It was reported that Shahid Afridi has joined the Karachi Kings. He will play a vital role in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) franchise as its President.
The Karachi Kings owner Salman Iqbal welcomed the aggressive batsman to his group. Afridi had earlier announced to quit Peshawar Zalmi as its player and President.
Afridi had also taken part in Emirates T20 tournament where he represented Peshawar Zalmi under the captaincy of Darren Sammy. Boom Boom has retired from all formates of international cricket. He plays T20 leagues all around the world and represents big franchises like Melbourne Renegades (Big Bash), Hampshire (NatWest T20 Blast), St Kitts and Nevis (CPL) and others.
It is still not confirmed whether the all-rounder will play himself from the PSL Karachi franchise.
