Serena Hotels organizes mega trekking event
ISLAMABAD, (DNA) – Serena Hotels organized a morning trek under it’s Adventure Diplomacy Initiative. Beginning at Trail 6 the trek ended on sumptuous breakfast overlooking the Talhar Valley.
Numerous members of the Diplomatic Community, Government, Armed Forces, Corporate Sector and friends of Serena participated in the hike on Margalla Trail 6, which combines a gentle picturesque amble for the first 1.5 kilometer with a more challenging incline towards the end. The embassies and missions of Sweden, Switzerland, Argentina, Belgium, Romania, Hungary, the European Union, Egypt, Peru, Canada, Vietnam, Australia, Britain, Czech Republic, France, Syria, Spain, Netherlands, Uganda, Kuwait and USA were all represented.

The Chief Guest was Colonel (Retd.) M. Sher Khan who is a renowned mountaineer famous for being the first Pakistani to climb the daunting Rakaposhi (7,788 metres) and Nanga Parbat (8,126 metres) amongst his many illustrious climbs.
