Serena Hotels and KKAWF champion a drug-free future

ISLAMABAD, OCT 19: Serena Hotels, under the initiative of Sports Diplomacy, collaborated with the Karim Khan Afridi Welfare Foundation (KKAWF), for the 9th edition of the “Save Tomorrow” Run & Walk at Fatima Jinnah Park (F-9 Park), Islamabad.

The annual “Save Tomorrow” Run & Walk brought together over 500 participants from various walks of life, united in the mission to promote a drug-free and healthy society. Participants competed across different categories 15 and below, professional runners, 40+, and Persons with Disabilities showing their commitment to raising awareness about drug abuse and encouraging preventive action.
The event featured motivational speeches from dignitaries and partners who emphasized the power of collective responsibility in combating drug addiction. Ms. Cristina Von Sperling Afridi, Chairperson of KKAWF, highlighted the Foundation’s commitment to protecting youth through education, awareness, and community programs that build strength and informed decision-making.
Prizes and medals were distributed among winners in each category, acknowledging their active participation and support for the cause. The event served as a powerful reminder that community-driven efforts can bring meaningful change and inspire a united front against drug abuse.
