ISLAMABAD, (DNA) – Senator Mushahid Hussain, Chairman Senate Standing Committee on Defence, has extended heartfelt felicitations to President Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey on his victory in the elections held in Turkey on 24 June 2018.

Mushahid Hussain underscored that the large turn-out and the peaceful conduct of the parliamentary and presidential elections is a testimony to the strength and vibrancy of Turkey’s democratic values and institutions.

He expressed hope that Turkey will continue on its path of progress and prosperity under the leadership of President Erdogan and the historic and unparalleled bilateral relations between Pakistan and Turkey will continue to grow from strength to strength.
