Sehar Kamran (TI) expresses solidarity with people of Palestine
ISLAMABAD, Dec 12 (DNA): Senator Sehar Kamran (TI) while speaking on a resolution in the Senate of Pakistan condemning the US President Trump’s announcement to move the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem said our heart beats with the people of Palestine. She expressed solidarity with the people of Palestine.
Senator Kamran called for the unity and solidarity of Muslim Ummah. She stated that this decision is an attack on Bait-ul-Muqadas – the heartline of Muslims. She questioned the United Nations upon its inaction over this decision and opined that this decision will only serve to create more chaos and anarchy in the world which evidently seems like Trump’s plan of action.
Senator Sehar Kamran said that we don’t condemn this US decision to move embassies but categorically reject it as Jerusalem belongs to the Muslims. She stated that today Muslim Ummah needs a visionary leader like Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto who can guide the Ummah in these turbulent times.
She called for the unity of Muslim countries and said we must protest peacefully, as nothing will be gained if we start destroying our own property. We need to protest smartly, she added.
Senator Kamran called for an economic boycott of the Jewish and American products and said today more than ever the Muslim countries need to stand united and take a collective decision otherwise history will never forget them for their silenc
