Security Forces soldier martyred in Quetta
QUETTA, JAN 30 (DNA) – A Levies Force personnel was shot dead by some unidentified armed assailants at Qambarani Road near Sariab area, here on Tuesday.
According to police sources, the Levies Force official Muhammad Ismail s/o Muhammad Akbar resident of Mastung was near Sharif Abad, Qambarani Road when some unknown armed assailants riding a motorbike opened fire at him and fled away from the scene. As a result, he died on the spot.
The body of the deceased was shifted to Sheikh Zahid Hospital for medico- legal formalities.
The police cordoned of the entire area and started efforts to trace out suspects. Further investigations were underway.
