SC orders to restore Karachi Circular Railway at earliest
KARACHI (DNA) – Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) on Saturday has directed to immediately restore Karachi Circular Railway (KCR).
As per details garnered, Hon’ble Justice Gulzar presided over session here at SC Karachi Registry today.
The apex court also directed to vacate land of Ministry of Railways from land grabbers whereas also directed authorities to run train for tourism purpose from Sadar to Old City.
Country’s top court made it overtly clear that no encroachment should be witnessed after completion of anti-encroachment drive. The SC ordered to expedite ongoing anti-encroachment drive.
The SC also ordered to end encroachments on historic Shahrah-e-Faisal road and Rashid Minhas road.
