SBP playing pivotal role in economic policy implementation: Zubair
KARACHI, JULY 01 (DNA): Sindh Governor Muhammad Zubair says State Bank of Pakistan is playing an pivotal role in the implementation of government economic policy.
He was talking to the four ex-governors of SBP caretaker minister for finance Dr Shamshad Akhter, Dr Ishrat Hussain, Yaseen Anwar and Ashraf Mahmood Wathra including current governor of SBP Tariq Bajwa in a consultative session in Karachi Sunday.
Governor Sindh M. Zubair said that SBP is the key stakeholder for the development of country’s economy and prosperity.
- Zubair said entire country including Karachi is on the way of peace and development and foreign investments are also increased in the country.
Later, ex-governors of SBP also presented the suggestion on various aspects of economy during the consultative session.=DNA
