ISLAMABAD, MAR 12 (DNA) – Sadik Sanjrani from has  become new Chairman of Senate and Salim Mandiviwal of PPP became Deputy Chairman of Senate.

Sadik Sanjrani got 57 votes  and PML-N’s Raja Zafarul Haq took 47 votes.

MQM also voted for Sadik Sanjrani. Sanjrani got While Salim Mandviwala got It was quite evident that Sadik Sanjrani will win the Chairman Senate election.

PML N because of its designs to amend the constitution in fact paved way for its defeat. Certain forces were skeptical that if PML N takes majority in Senate also then it may amend the Constitution according to its own sweet will and try to bring under control certain constitutional institutions of Pakistan.

Even in the next general elections it will be difficult  for PML N to put up a good show. Political pundits believe once cases against Nawaz Sharif and Marrium Nawaz are finalized, disintegration process of PML N then will start.=DNA
