ISLAMABAD, DEC 21 (DNA) – Provision of state of the art and cost effective road infrastructure in the capital is among top priorities.

Mayor of Islamabad and Chairman, CDA, Sheikh Anser Aziz expressed these views while inaugurating carpeting work by MPO Directorate of Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI) in Diplomatic Enclave. Senior Officers of MCI accompanied the Mayor.

The new CDA administration has revived MPO Directorate to make construction related ventures cost effective. Carpeting of Constitution Avenue by MPO Directorate is an accomplishment indeed. MPO Directorate is undertaking carpeting work in Sector D-12 as well.

All these projects will be completed at comparatively lesser cost and in minimum time. There will be no compromise on standard of work, the Mayor added.

The Mayor of Islamabad and Chairman, CDA, Sheikh Anser Aziz directed the Environment Wing to complete landscape work along newly constructed roads in collaboration with MPO Directorate to overcome wear and tear. =DNA
