Religious Ministry to deploy over 1,500 Moavineen-e-Hujjaj in Saudi Arabia

ISLAMABAD, (DNA) – Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony is intending to deploy over 1,500 Moavineen-e- Hujjaj in Saudi Arabia to help facilitate intending pilgrims during their pilgrimage in Saudi Arabia, officials sources of Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony said.
According to an official of Ministry, the contingent of welfare staff, Moavineen was being selected from federal ministries, departments, provincial government, police, civil defense, scouts and other public sector organizations and 10 percent quota has been reserved for repeaters.
An officer of the rank of BS 20/21 would be responsible for overall supervision and management of welfare staff, Moavineen.
Besides, the ministry would also hire local Moavineen-e-Hajj, who can communicate in Arabic language with Saudi agencies to facilitate Hujjaj.
The ministry’s staff perform welfare and administrative duties at main control room at Makkah Mukkaramah and Madinah Munawarrah, Madinah Departure Cell, monitoring of Hajj Operation-2019, Lost,Found Cell, establishing field office at Mina for Mashaair services and coordination cell with airlines for issuance and change of tickets and other Hajj related duties.
