Recommended Nawaz time and again to not confront judiciary, army: Nisar
TAXILA, MAR 17 (DNA) – Former interior minister Chaudhry Nisar said on Saturday that he had recommended former premier Nawaz Sharif time and again not to develop a confrontation with judiciary and the army.
Nisar addressed a press conference in Taxila today and said that he had advised Nawaz Sharif repeatedly during meetings of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) to not enter a confrontation with the judiciary or the army.
PML-N’s stance has always been to not confront state institutions, he added.
Former federal minister said that he meets Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif often and that there is not forward bloc in the making.
He rhetorically asked if he violated party’s disciplanry code by recommending Nawaz to got by party’s stance and not confront institutions.
While talking about his constituency, Nisar said that it was his first visit today after the fresh delimitation of constituencies were announced by Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP). He asserted that a hospital would be inaugurated in the coming or next week.
