ISLAMABAD, JUNE 14 (DNA) – President Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCC) Zahid Latif Khan hosted iftar reception for the diplomatic corps. Lt. Gen ® Nasser Khan Janjua National Security Adviser was the chief guest.

A large number of diplomats, members of civil society and business community attended the reception. The President RCCI in his address welcomed the diplomatic community adding the business community of Pakistan was keen to enhance its interactions with the diplomatic missions.

He added, the Rawalpindi chamber had held a number of exhibitions in various countries. He particularly mentioned the recently held exhibition in Dushanbe in which a number of companies both from Pakistan and Azerbaijan participated.

The RCCI President added, they are going to hold a mega event in Romania in July this year in which many companies have already conveyed their willingness to attend.

He said purpose of these expos is not only to showcase various Pakistani products abroad but also to woo the foreign investors to come to Pakistan and explore different business opportunities.

He said, Pakistan had a lot to offer to foreign investments therefore they must come here as this country has a lot to offer to foreign business people.=DNA
