RCCI inks MoU with China’s IBI Group to promote industrial cooperation
ISLAMABAD, MAY 13 /DNA/ – The Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce & Industry (RCCI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with China’s IBI Group during the IBI Pakistan Digital Economy HQ Official Launch Ceremony held in Islamabad.
The MoU was signed by RCCI President Usman Shaukat, who also exchanged the MoU documents with representatives of IBI Group. RCCI Group Leader Sohail Altaf witnessed the signing ceremony.
The agreement aims to strengthen strategic cooperation in industrial digitalization, e-commerce, smart manufacturing, logistics support, and industrial development by leveraging IBI Group’s expertise and creating new opportunities for joint ventures between RCCI Industrial Estate Rawat and IBI Group.
The prestigious ceremony brought together senior government officials, diplomats, business leaders, and international stakeholders, including Deputy Prime Minister of Pakistan Senator Ishaq Dar, SAPM on Industries & Production Haroon Akhtar Khan, Minister for Board of Investment Qaiser Sheikh, Minister of State for IT & Telecom Ms. Shaza Fatima Khawaja, ambassadors of Pakistan and China, FPCCI leadership, and representatives from leading Pakistani and Chinese enterprises.
