RAW, other hostile intelligence agencies operating from Afghanistan: CJCSC
KARACHI, JUL 15 (DNA) – Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Zubair Mahmood Hayat on Saturday said that Pakistan is fully aware of the designs of hostile agencies especially India’s Research and Analysis Wing (RAW).
Addressing the passing out parade of cadets at Pakistan Naval Academy in Karachi, he said the Indian intelligence is operating from Afghanistan to stoke unrest and instability in the country and sabotage the China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) project.
“Pakistan is confronting adversaries who are involved in indirect sub-conventional warfare against us. Pakistan is also fully aware of those threats from hostile intelligence agencies especially India’s Research and Analysis Wing (RAW). These hostile intelligence agencies are operating from Afghanistan and other locations to create unrest in Pakistan in general and Balochistan in particular. Their designs / actions to sabotage China Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) are also very well known,” the CJCSC remarked.
“To deal with these challenges and threats, we are committed to undertake synergetic national efforts at the national level. Armed forces have a pivotal role to play in this regard. Make no mistake. We will beat back the enemy’s design,” he added.
