Rabi-ul-Awwal moon sighted, Eid Miladun Nabi on Dec 1
KARACHI, (DNA) – Rabi-ul-Awwal moon has been sighted in Pakistan and the 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal will be observed on December 1.
According to details, the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, headed by Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman, convened its meeting on Sunday evening to sight Rabi-ul-Awwal moon.
Talking to the media after the meeting, Rehman said that the committee has received enough testimonies of sighting of moon. Testimonies were received from Multan, Kalat, Jiwani, Karachi, and other parts of the country, he added.
The 12th of Rabi-ul-Awwal will be observed countrywide on Friday (December 1), he announced.
Muslims across the globe observe the birthday of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him) on the 12th of the Islamic month of Rabi-ul-Awwal.
