Quetta suicide blast: Five FC soldiers hit
QUETTA, APR 09 (DNA) – At least five people have sustained injuries in a blast near vehicle carrying Frontier Corps’ (FC) soldiers.
As per initial details, blast struck vehicle in Buleli area whereas law enforcement agencies have cordoned off the area.
Rescue teams have arrived at the blast scene and injured are being shifted to hospital.
The suicide attacker targetted the security check post in Buleli area of the provincial capital, according to DG Civil Defence Aslam Tareen and FC sources.
The wounded persons included four paramilitary personnel and a civilian.
A large contingent of police and FC rushed to the site immediately after the blast and sealed the entire vicinity.
Images from the scene of the blast showed an FC vehicle on flames, which had been parked close to the check post.
Meanwhile, rescue members also took to the spot and shifted wounded persons to a hospital.
