Putin arrives in Uzbekistan today
TASHKENT, (DNA) – Russian President Vladimir Putin is arriving in Tashkent today on visit to Uzbekistan toady.
The two-day visit carries special significance for both countries.
Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has intoroduced significant political and economic reforms in the country and has also abandoned some of his predecessor’s more repressive policies while projecting an image of a country more open to foreign investment and tourism.
