Punjab apex committee undecided on holding PSL final in Lahore

FEB 26, (DNA) -A meeting of Punjab Apex Committee was held in Lahore on Sunday, with the Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif in the chair, to review law and order situation and counter-terrorism measures.
The meeting ended inconclusively without making a final decision on holding the Pakistan Super League (PSL) final in Lahore.
According to Punjab government spokesman Malik Ahmed Khan, the decision of holding PSL final in Lahore could be made anytime soon.
Talking to Samaa, he said details of security have been dispatched to the chief minister and that the decision in this regard could be made tonight.
The apex committee also reviewed the ongoing counter-terrorism operation Raad-ul-Fasaad.
Participants of the meeting expressed satisfaction over the operation against terrorists, their facilitators and patronizers under operation Radd-ul-Fasaad.

It was decided in the meeting to ensure the provision of foolproof security at the mosques, imambargahs and other places of worship.
