ISLAMABAD (DNA) – The project to build Islamabad National University at the Prime Minister House has been cancelled, on Friday.
It has been learnt that a new proposal is made to build an engineering university instead. In this regard, Atta-ur-Rahman has been directed to review the proposition.
Further details suggest that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-led federal government did not allocate funds for the university despite spending Rs3 crore at a ceremony related to the institution in January.
