President directs mosques’ admin to follow precautionary measures
ISLAMABAD, APR 26 (DNA): The President has directed the Imams of the mosques to convince the Nimazees above 50-years to offer their prayers at homes.
In his letter to Imams after visiting various mosques in Islamabad, he
said point number six of the SoP asks Nimazees of over 50 years old to
avoid coming to mosques for offering congregational prayers.
However, he expressed satisfaction over implementation of 20-point
Standard Operating Procedures by the administration of mosques.
The President also visited different mosques in Rawalpindi last night.
He directed the administration of the mosques to follow all necessary
precautionary measures to contain the spread of Coronavirus.
The President examined the precautionary measures and necessary
arrangements being adopted by the mosques’ administration during the
congregational prayers and Taraweeh to contain the spread of
Coronavirus. DNA
