ISLAMABAD: Simon Atkinson, Ipsos Global Chief Knowledge Officer made a presentation highlighting as how Pakistan is faring different or similar to global mega trends, in addition to unique insights about Pakistanis specifically, in comparison to other emerging markets.
The Ipsos Global Trends (IGT) 2024 survey themed “In search of a new consensus: from tension to intention”, analyzed societal trends and public opinion, drawing on insights from over 50,000 individuals across 50 countries including Pakistan.
These countries represent three quarters of the world’s population and 90% of the world’s GDP. It is a great tool to understand the context of societies, markets and people.
Earlier, the Ambassador of France to Pakistan Nicolas Galey introduced Mr Simon and highlighted various aspects of the interaction. He told that Mr Simon has held a range of senior roles in the company over three decades, leading teams working in social research, customer experience management, human resources and marketing and communications. Prior to taking up his current role he was Assistance Chief Executive at Ipsos in the UK.
